The third iteration of a set of modifications for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 I have developed cooperatively with mopem to aid the creation of video game content.
It contains various features easing the process of recording POV footage, creating stunning camera movements and constructing advanced visual effects!
WARNING: Before using the client,
make sure your game installation is clean
(i.e. does not contain the old client or
any other game modifications).
This can easily be achieved by redownloading
the game off of Steam.
INSTALLING RESHADE The previous reshade-
installation-procedure as shown in the
tutorial video doesn't apply to the new
CODMVM LAUNCHER IW5MVM version anymore.
Please just use the usual reshade download
IW5MVM is distributed using the CODMVM LAUNCHER.
Select IW5MVM in the mod selection screen of the launcher and then hit
START to start the game with IW5MVM loaded.
Once you see
IW5MVM v3 release in the lower right corner of the main menu, you can be sure the mod is loaded!
Use either F10 or the default cod-engine console key to open the ingame console; pressing the shift key alongside the console key opens the output window.

Before installing the new one you should clean your mw3 installation from any other mods/the old client/reshade and so on... The easiest way to do that is to just reinstall mw3! If you dont want to do that, you can contact me and I can help cleaning up your installation.
Try deleting your
demo folder (located in the
main subfolder) and restart the client.
If that doesn't help, try disabling reshade (by renaming the
reshade.dll to something else) if you are using it.
Also, disable RAZER SYNAPSE if you are using it (or any other similar programs).
If none of the above makes the client start properly, contact me directly and I'll see what I can do.
Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (the x86 version
vc_redist.x86.exe). Once done, restart the client!
Install the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2. Once done, start the launcher again!
Just start the game (via Steam) and once it's loaded into the main menu, click
in the CODMVM LAUNCHER. The launcher will then load the mod into the running game instance!
Using IW5MVM with Pluto doesn't require the CODMVM LAUNCHER. Just start the game and load any demo you wish to view.
You should then see the usual IW5MVM menu in theater mode.
